COMPUTER SCIENCE

This program is conducted at all levels and develops technological skills in students, such as layout and elements of database programming. The course is taught in one of the most modern laboratories in the province.

MATHEMATICS

The program intensively develops mathematical thinking, integrates conceptual knowledge, logical, critical, and  analytical thinking for the thoughtful and intelligent resolution of scientific and everyday problems.

SCIENCE

These courses develop interest and arouse curiosity in scientific knowledge. It creates in the student the skills to observe, describe and organize data of reality and establish consistent assumptions and predictions.

SPANISH

In this program, the language teaching comprehensively integrates reading, literature, grammar, speaking and spelling. The language is considered as a basic tool that allows the student the expression of their subjectivity and the surrounding world.

PHILOSOPHY

The teaching of philosophy promotes vital existential attitude, which allows students to critically understand the complex world of today and maintain a genuine attitude to the challenges of contemporary society and global consumerism.

PLASTIC ARTS

It promotes arts education as an ideal medium for young people to develop their creative skills, sensitivity, artistic tastes and attitudes. It also encourages and promotes the aesthetic expression as a means of knowledge of self, others and their environment.

MUSIC

This program focuses on promoting activities related to reading, interpretation, and appreciation of music. It develops knowledge of the musical mainstream. Above all, it tries to spark creativity and skill in musical expression of students.

SOCIAL STUDIES

Students address the socio-historical reality by their construction through time and develop a critical, analytical, and reflective attitude towards their social environment. It also integrates the knowledge of social science to achieve a more participatory and democratic society.

CIVICS

This subject promotes participatory and critical appreciation for national institutions. It encourages the effective participation of youth in addressing problems of democratic society.

HOMEROOM CLASSES

These sessions promote the development of young people, and provide support to strengthen their study habits. They also promote in the student knowledge of self and of their environment for decision-making consistent with personal and social commitment.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

This program tries a comprehensive education in the physical-mental area and promotes health by encouraging healthier living habits. The teaching of physical education is developed in four areas: recreation, health, education, sports and sporting performance.

It aims to achieve the full development by educating, by proper attention to the development of their skills and aspects of life itself, self-respect and encouragement of  the cultivation of the common good will and preparation for family life and social dignity.
